Ok now that I know where to ask I will explain. I currently have music cd’s that I would like to transfer to my ipod, but the format doesn’t conform how do I convert them so they can work with this ipods format. thanks

I’ve written pretty simple instructions for CD-to-iTunes import and conversion.
Once the CDs are imported into iTunes, you can sync iTunes with your iPod. That will allow you to convert your CDs into an iPod format.
