Where is the microphone jack?
Question:
i have a query regarding the cassette to PC conversion. I am using a laptop,i’m not technical enough to know about soundcards etc as described in the instructions about how to set the whole thing up. My laptop has 2 small sockets at the rear, both are small and the same size, one has a pic of a microphone and the other is a pic of headphones. Can the process still be done usingĀ Audacity?
Answer:
Yes. The one with a picture of the microphone is your microphone jack. You plug things into this to record with Audacity. The other plug with the headphone picture is what you’d plug headphones into, so you can listen to whatever you want using headphones.
