Question:

I just recently downloaded Audacity and had no problem recording the cassette, but when I tried to export it as a WAV file to CD I was told that the drive was unavailable, Incorrect function.  When I tried to burn it through WMP I was told that the recording had errors.  It is a recordings of speech so I’m not sure if that’s the problem or not.
 
Any suggestions?

Answer:

First, you mention that you tried to export the file directly to CD. I’d recommend against doing that. Instead export the file to your PC’s hard drive. Then take that hard drive file and burn that to CD.
