Tech support for Verizon smartphones
The below is a portion of a press release from Verizon about a new offering: the Verizon Wireless Smartphone Resource Center. One problem with smartphones is that, unless you’re a big tech geek, the devices are hard to figure out. Heck, they’re hard to figure out for the geeks sometimes, too. Hopefully, resources like this will give users access to smartphone tech support that’s better than just a level one support center (which handles simple requests, but often can’t provide phone-specific help).
I’m interested if any of my readers use this Verizon tech support for smartphones. If you have, please post your experiences below. Personally, I used the Interactive Simulator, and think it’s pretty good. Much more effective than parsing a manual, or talking with a tech rep who’s never used your phone before. (This last experience is dealing with phone tech support – I personally have never used in-store tech support, so can’t judge them.)
