Strange neighbors make for interesting emails
Question:
We have been experiencing continuous noises in our home for over a year now. The noises range from beeps, opening and closing of doors and drawers, babies crying, laughter (such as evil laughter), and even talking in my children’s rooms.
We are extremely tired in the daytime because we don’t get sleep from the noises. We have called the police, and all they say is they’ve driven around and seen no activity. Our question to you is, is there a way to find out who it is and stop it?
[…and after I emailed them about making audio/video recordings for the police, or asking if it could just be neighbors pulling pranks…]
Just got your last message about survillance, etc. All interesting but what I’d like to know now is that how long do these waves travel. I mean, we think its the high school boy next door because sometimes we’ll see light waves (laser) from his bedroom. We know for sure it has nothing to do with “poltergiest” stuff. Whoever it is can tell what part of the house we’re in like when we’re sleeping we hear the beeps etc. and when we’re just hanging out we’ll hear dishes falling in the closent.
Answer:
Have you thought about making recordings of the sounds, then confronting the boy or his parents?
Response:
Yes, we have hired a private investigator and he put a camera outside and says he will get recordings of them and we will have to either go over there or issue an injunction. The PI is charging us $500 to help us. We don’t know if thats way too much money or not we just want our sleep. Thank you for all your info.
