Do powered cellphone antenna boosters work?

I’ve read about the “antenna booster sticker” but what about how well expensive antenna boosters work.

The type of product you linked to is an example of an cellphone range booster that does indeed work. These are essentially a powered antenna that plugs in directly to the cellphone’s external antenna port (not all cellphones have this special port).
The difference between this powered cellphone antenna and the antenna booster sticker I reviewed is that the booster sticker isn’t powered, it’s not really an antenna, and it’s not electrically connected to the phone in any way!
