Cellphone antenna booster sticker ads
Question:
I was just reading your article on the cell phone boost signal stickers which was very informative and only added to my thoughts that these things couldn’t possibly work. I want to thank you for finally PROVING it. Also, I thought you would like to know that at the bottom of your page there are ads from google…. I’m sure you know the ads are there but the interesting thing is that if you click one of them called *********.com and then and then click their link to **************.com they are selling the product that you just debunked. I just found it amusing that a product that you loathe is unintentionally being advertised by you. I know you didn’t choose to advertise for them or use them but they are USING you!!! Thanks again for the informative article. I look forward to reading more from you.
Answer:
I have two thoughts about these kind of problems:
1) The Google AdSense service is far from perfect. It usually does a pretty good job, but certainly not in this case! I have a limited control over blocking inappropriate ads, and I’ve done that here. It might help fix this issue.
2) If someone reads and understands my article, then clicks through to an antenna booster sticker ad, and then purchases the sticker, that person is beyond my help.
I trust for the most part that my readers are intelligent enough to not fall for the scam, and that anyone visiting that ad is curious and is not a serious buyer.
