Apple iPad available at Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless is bundling the iPad with its MiFi Mobile Hotspot and a monthly access plan of up to 1GB of data for $20 per month. From the Verizon press release:
VERIZON WIRELESS STORES OPEN EARLY FOR iPAD DEBUT
WHAT:
Verizon Wireless’ company-owned stores in Michigan that are not within malls will open at 8 a.m.—one hour early—on Thursday, October 28, 2010 to accomodate customers interested in purchasing an Apple iPad bundled with the Verizon MiFi Mobile Hotspot.
WHO:
Interview consumers who have been waiting for the iPad to come to Verizon Wireless. A Verizon Wireless spokesperson will also be available—either by phone or in person—to answer questions.

BACKGROUND:
Consumers’ pent-up demand for a relationship between Verizon Wireless and Apple was fed when Apple recently announced the iPad with Wi-Fi will be available at Verizon Wireless Stores beginning Thursday, October 28.
